Nike+ SportWatch GPS

The good: The Nike+ SportWatch GPS is very easy to use and has an attractive design. The watch has good battery life, and the Web component is a great resource for tracking workouts and getting training tips.
The bad: It's expensive. We had some initial problems with GPS, and positioning wasn't always accurate.
The bottom line: For runners looking to keep track of their workouts, the Nike+ SportWatch GPS offers a very attractive and simple solution, but it's on the pricier side.

LBT PocketFinder personal GPS locator

The good: The LBT PocketFinder is extremely easy to use, requiring little to no interaction by the wearer. The included gel cases and clip are attractive without drawing attention to the device's purpose. Web and iOS apps give users access to up to 60 days of location history and unlimited location requests.
The bad: Annual operating costs are higher than those of competing devices.
The bottom line: The PocketFinder is the simplest to use of the personal GPS locators that we've tested, requiring no interaction from the user on a day-to-day basis, but you'll pay a bit more in the long run for that.

Modern HUD guides the way with retro flair

Garmin HUD

The good: The Garmin Head-Up Display reduces driver distraction by projecting GPS information onto the windshield and in the line of sight. Setup is largely automated and painless. Garmin includes two methods of viewing the display.
The bad: Only one reflective film is included in the box, and installation is easy to botch. The HUD requires an additional $50 app to function.
The bottom line: The Garmin HUD boosts safety and helps keep eyes on the road, but the cost of entry will likely dissuade most drivers.
